A Review on Structural Failure of Composite Pressure Hulls in Deep Sea

With the increasing application and study of lightweight high strength fiber reinforced polymer composites in ocean industry, structural failure problem composite pressure hulls has attracted great attention from many researchers China globally. Analysis mechanisms is foundational to design deep-sea hulls, since nowadays rules pressurized vessels mostly formulated according their modes. Hence, this paper aims review research on deep sea settings. First all, applied status material marine equipment analyzed, including inspection modalities for hulls. The then focuses three main modes, namely overall buckling, snap buckling identifies further problems be solved through research, aiming provide a reference mechanical behavior, ultimate computation, thick equipment.
